| The UCLA March of Dimes Collegiate Council under the administration of the local March of Dimes Los Angeles chapter is dedicated towards:
-Spreading March of Dimes public health messages to the next generation of parents.
-Developing personal leadership skills to help prepare college students for a future of community involvement.
-Fundraising to help the March of Dimes save babies.
-Building a volunteer base for the future of the March of Dimes.
The Collegiate Council was founded at UCLA in Spring Quarter of 2002, by the dedicated efforts of Jennifer Ceci, Judy Ying, and Jasmine Lai, all members of the Chain Reaction Council in San Diego in high school. The Collegiate Council has since then grown into a small, intimate club with a membership of about 25 dedicated members. We are always interested in our members' input and suggestions, and encourage them to let us know how we can better cater to their interests and talents.
